Software

Requirement for the Ares Editor is .NET 4.5 or higher; for the Player .NET 4.0. For the Ares Controller as a separate program, you'll need Java 6.

Ares is open source and is published under the GPL v2.

The download size of the packages is about 15 M for Windows and about 5 M for Linux (installation hints). For details about changes in each version, see the change log.

Scenarios

Here are some sound scenarios which have been provided to the community by Ares users. Many thanks! To use these scenarios:

1. Unzip the file into a directory
2. In the Project Explorer of the Ares Editor, select "Import" from the context menu of a mode (not "Import" from the project menu, that's for whole projects, not for single scenarios)
3. Choose the unzipped file with the ending apkg and confirm
4. If you like, rename the new element (F2) or assign a key (F3)
